How to Properly Care for Your Non-Stick Cookware?

I. Open and maintain the cookware: The first use is essential

  • Initial cleaning:
  1. Wash with warm water ➕ neutral detergent
  2. Wipe dry with a soft cloth and apply a thin layer of cooking oil (let stand for 2h)
  • Initial using:
  1.  Preheat the cookware for 1 minute on medium-low heat in an empty pot
  2. Pour the oil and then wait for another 30s for the cooking ingredients

 2. The golden rule of daily use

  • Temperature control:
  1. ❌ No more than 250 ℃ (Medium heat is enough)
  2. ❌ Empty the pot for no more than 1 minute (serious damage to the coating)
  • Choice of tools:
  1. ✅ Silicone/wooden spatula
  2. ❌ Metal tools (will scratch the coating)
  • Cooking tips:
  1. Cool down before cleaning (hot pots and pans can be deformed by running cold water over them)
  2. Cover the bottom of the pots and pans with the amount of oil when deep-frying

3.Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Proper Cleaning:
  1. Wait for the pots and pans to cool down to less than 50°C
  2. Use sponge ➕ neutral detergent
  3. For stubborn stains, use lukewarm water to soak
  • Storage Tips:
  1. Store them after they have dried out completely
  2. Avoid stacking (put kitchen paper in the middle to store them. )
